Construction

1. What will happen on the plant site and when, immediately after the land is acquired? When will grading begin and the first trees begin coming down?

Now that the Partners own the land for our preferred site, engineers and surveyors are conducting site visits and comprehensive field surveys to prepare of construction plans and specifications for the new water reclamation facility.

Rough grading and other site development activities will be the first construction activities to occur. Site development also includes: the access road; site utility roads; utility installation (water, electric, communications); sedimentation and erosion control; and site access control. To minimize potential erosion from storm water, groundcover will be left in place as long as possible prior to construction. Where trees need to be cleared, we will be establishing temporary ground cover.

We expect construction to start in early 2008.
